According to a report from the Clarion Ledger (Jackson, Miss.), Favre’s organization, Favre Enterprises, was paid $1.1 million as part of a $94 million state embezzlement scandal from the 2019 fiscal year. Money that was meant to help poor Mississippians instead was spent on cars and a college baseball tournament sponsorship, among other things.
