The conversion mod was then showcased by YouTuber Lbags, who revealed just how many changes the mod introduced to Breath of the Wild. Apart from the switch in character models, the mod also overhauled the game’s menu system and replaced Link’s glider with two of Nier Automata’s famous pods. Additionally, Breath of the Wild’s monster parts merchant was replaced with Nier: Automata’s Emil. To make the Nier: Automata experience authentic, the mod also introduces various weapons from the game, as well as the soundtrack that includes the popular songs Memories of Dust and Pascal.

Although both Breath of the Wild and Nier: Automata are amazing on their own, this mod that reimagines the combination of the best elements of both titles is really a sight to behold, especially since the sequel to Breath of the Wild 2 is currently in the works. At E3 2019, Nintendo announced that it is currently developing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, which is a direct sequel to the 2017 game.

Of course, given the massive success of the first Breath of the Wild, which many believe boosted the sales of the Nintendo Switch, it is unsurprising that Nintendo is already making a follow up to the game. As of the moment, it appears that Breath of the Wild 2 is still in its early stages of development, given that Nintendo still hasn’t announced a release date. However, an industry insider revealed a couple of months ago that the likeliest release date for Breath of the Wild 2 will be in 2021 or late 2020 at the earliest.

Given that Nintendo is still reluctant to reveal more information about Breath of the Wild 2, several rumors and alleged leaks of the upcoming game have been circulating online. Just a few days ago, YouTuber Tyler McVicker shared a leak that surrounds map details of the upcoming game and how the sequel will introduce a new Ganon. Talking about the map, McVicker said that the developers will be reusing the same world as the first game but will be repopulating it with dungeons and locations that are similar to old-school Zelda games.
